Students will be receiving academic curriculum coupled with a service project designed specifically to address the needs of our English Language Learners and the community they live in. The classroom goals are to have each student successfully master the four domains of the English Language (speaking, writing, listening, reading) as well as enhance their potential leadership abilities through taking on ownership of planning and implementation of student facilitated workshops. Students will create the first parent workshop with a focus on learning together (parents, teachers, students) while incorporating the unit, Family Matters.
