Rarely has a football player been better named than Judah Rock.
“Judah’s been, well, a rock for us,” said Freedom head coach Jason Roeder of his 5-foot-10, 205-pound senior. “He’s been really good for us. He’s an old-school, high-character, unsung hero kind of guy.”
In other words, just the kind of foundation, which is usually made out of rock, that the Patriots, rankled No. 1 in the region by lehighvalleylive, have built their recent success on — success they hope to continue when they host No. 3-ranked Nazareth in a ginormous EPC South clash of 3-0 teams Friday night at Bethlehem Area School District Stadium.
