Penn & Ink Club
Attention all writers, poets, photographers, and artists!
Are you looking for a creative space to express yourself, share your work, or just hang out with a group of friendly, welcoming people who share your passion for the arts?
Come check out Pen & Ink, Freedom’s very own literary magazine! Our first meeting of the year is this Wednesday, September 22nd, at 2:30 PM in Room 603.
Whether you love scribbling in a journal, snapping photos, drawing, or writing poetry, all are welcome! We will be drawing the lucky winner of the $25 Amazon gift card for last year’s submissions!
Interested in seeing your poems, short stories, photography, or artwork published in this year’s magazine issue? Keep an eye out for our QR codes posted all around the school*to submit your work. You can also swing by Room 603 anytime to talk to Mr. Dunstan if you have any questions or want to submit directly.
Pen & Ink meets every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month.

Tabletop Games and Comics Club
Tabletop Games and Comics Club brings the Friendly local game store experience to FHS.
Whether you want to try your hand at Role Playing Games like Dungeons and Dragons, Wargaming like War Hammer or Trench Crusade, Card Games like Magic the Gathering, or if comic books and hobbying is more you speed, we have something for you.
If Tabletop Games and Comics Club stop by Room 232 on Mondays starting on 9/28 to check things out.
Anime Club
Anime Club will be meeting on Tuesdays from 2:30 p.m to 4:10 p.m in room 140.
Medical Club
The first Medical Club meeting of the year will take place on Tuesday, September 22nd, after school in room 162. Any student interested in the medical field is invited to attend. For more information, you can follow the club on Instagram: fhs_medicalclub!
Buddies Helping Buddies
Buddies Helping Buddies meets Thursday September 24th at 2:30 in room 302. Club ends at 3:45! Any questions reach out to Ms. Hamm.
Garden Club
Every Monday, starting September 28, come hang out with us and help make something grow! We will be in Mrs. Oleksza’s room.
Songwriting Club
A new club is forming at Freedom High School! Songwriting Club meets every Tuesday after school in room 506. If you are interested in writing music, please consider coming to one of our meetings. You do not need to have any prior experience writing songs in order to be a part of our club! Please reach out to Ms. Melito with any questions. Hope to see you there!
International Leadership Club
International Leadership Club is back. Do you speak a different language? Do you want to talk about your culture? Do you want to address what’s going on around the world? Learn about different cultures? Get community service? Please, come to room 230 on any Tuesday after school.
