C.J. Horvath’s Candy Land games with his mom, Kimberlee, were intense.
His response to losing was age appropriate for a 4- and 5-year-old.
“She never let me win,” he recalled. “I would get mad because I was losing, but she taught me a lesson that would help me as I would go on in life: If you’re going to succeed, you’re going to have to earn it.
“I keep that in everything I do, especially wrestling.”
