William Safranek is a proud alum, parent, and retiree of the Bethlehem Area School District. He graduated from Freedom High School and then returned to his alma mater as a teacher, devoting 30 years to BASD. During his tenure at Freedom, William served as Planetarium Director for 28 years, (Boys’ and/or Girls’??) Soccer Coach for 30 years, and Student Council Advisor for 13 years. He was the Corporate Sponsor Chairman and Founder for BASD mini-THON, raising more than $75,000 for the Four Diamonds Pediatric Cancer Fund and PCFLV of the Lehigh Valley. Additionally, William is the Founder of the BASD mini-THON golf tournament. Currently, he is the owner of Lehigh Valley Heroes, a full-service real estate company and leader of the Bill Safranek Team with EXP Realty of Bethlehem. His wife, Stephanie, is a Special Education Teacher at Freedom. Their son is a student at East Hills Middle School.
