Freedom High School football coach Jason Roeder knew he had a real player in the pipeline when he saw Tristan Wheeler during his days as a Bethlehem Township Bulldog and East Hills Charger.
“I met him at youth camp years and years ago, and he stood out right from the get-go,” Roeder said. “We knew we were getting a great kid and a great football player from a great family. He’s made the most of his career here.”
When Wheeler got on Freedom’s campus, it only took a handful of weeks before he was in the starting lineup. He’s been a staple of the Patriots linebacking corps since that point.
